Step 01
Activate Okta
Okta is how we manage access to everything — your laptop, Gmail, and Slack all flow through it.

Monday morning, check your personal inbox for a "Welcome to Okta" email from Mainstay.
  • Open the email and click the activation link
  • Set your password
  • Your Mainstay email is: [email protected]

Step 02
Log into your device
Once Okta is activated, you're ready to log in to your laptop. Power it on and use your Okta credentials to sign in — not a local password.
Step 03
Access your Mainstay email
  • From your Okta dashboard, click the Gmail tile
  • Or go directly to mail.google.com and enter your Mainstay email
  • You'll be redirected to Okta — sign in with your credentials
  • You're in. 🎉

Join Slack
You'll receive a Slack invite by Monday morning in your Mainstay inbox. Accept the invite, upload a photo, add your title, and join #general and #announcements.

Benefits enrollment is open for your first 30 days. Don't wait — the window closes on Day 30.
Mainstay covers the majority of premiums for employees and dependents. Details are in the benefits portal.

Two plan options: PPO and HDHP with HSA. Mainstay covers 80% of employee premiums and 60% of dependent premiums.

Dental
Covers preventive care at 100%, basic care at 80%, and major care at 50%. Orthodontia included with a lifetime maximum.

Vision
Annual eye exam covered in full. $150 allowance for frames or contacts per calendar year.

401(k)
Mainstay matches 4% of your salary, dollar-for-dollar. Vesting begins immediately on matched contributions.

PTO
Unlimited PTO with a minimum expectation of 15 days per year. Plus 10 company holidays and your birthday off.

Home Office
$500 one-time home office stipend for remote employees. $50/month internet reimbursement ongoing.
